Did you have a good Labor Day? We got in one last trip to the lake, which was great fun.
We got in some boat ridin', brew sippin', wakeboardin'..


And some seriously insane slip 'n slidin':


It was the scariest, but most fun, slip 'n slide I've ever ridden.
Now it's back to reality, but thank goodness for a 4-day work week!
So here's a project that took entirely way too long. Our dining room furniture never went together, but then we got a table/matching chairs (a first for us) from Michael's rents. This motivated me to make the room a bit more cohesive. First project: refinish mirror to match table.

It was much lighter than the table:

Staining is always the rewarding part because it is instant gratification:
