Saturday AM Michael was up and at 'em by 7:30. I was a bit more sluggish to start. After some mindless house chores, we were started on the outside of the addition by 10:30.
First up: caulk every single groove and crevice known to man. This took entirely way too long.
We finally wrapped up caulking by around 3:00 and were on to priming:
By 5, it was time for me to start the first coat of paint. Our original goal was to get the entire first coat on by day's end. That clearly did not happen.
By 7:30 we were running out of daylight/energy and called it quits after the first coat was applied to 1 of the 3 sides.
The fun did not end there my friends! After a quick dinner break, it was time to tackle the inside. Trim up around sliding door, trim touch-up and other fun activities:
By 10:30 we were pooped and called it a day. We had to get all rested up for round #2 after all!
