A Pumpkin Deck - Just in Time for the Holidays

This weekend was another slammed-packed kinda one. Friday night after a deck staining marathon, we hit up the bars with friends. Okay one bar. And we left by 12:30. I am just not cut out for bar hopping in my old age.

After deck staining marathon #2 on Saturday, we had Michael's HS reunion. Lucky for me, we are good friends with a lot of Michael's HS classmates. The gals:


Sunday, we went and watched the Panthers almost beat the Saints:

So JTC told us he had a guy that would stain our deck for 'only' $600. Pssht you know what I could do with $600?! And as much whining that I did, it was definitely not worth paying someone to do it.

Friday night after work, we got started around 6:

We were planning on getting the first coat completely done. Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight, energy and patience. By 8:30, we had to call it quits.
