A DIY tree skirt - no sewing involved. Considering we have used a piece of burlap for our skirt the past couple of yrs, I was pretty stoked to liven up our tree with the above. After sharing my idea with Michael, he was quick to remind me that a skirt made with a hot glue gun is unlikely to last more than a season or two. Buzz kill.

It looked slightly complicated, but I was ready for the challenge. It can't take more than one evening to make a simple little tree skirt, right? Wrong! Try 4 nights x 4 hrs each. This is what happens when you do not choose to make a pillow for your first sewing experience.
I was all ready to document all the steps so I could teach someone else how to make it. As you will see, I got lots of pics. Then, I ran out of steam. And the photos stopped.
