2012 List

Things I like to do:
1. Make to-do lists

This is not a lie. I think it may even be some kind of problem. I will even write things down that I have already done just so I can mark them off.

Here is my 'home-improvement' list for 2012:
  • Re-do office and guest closets (in progress)
  • Finish pathway in backyard
  • Get shrubs for side of house (barrier from creepy neighbor with an email address of name@cyberhacker.net)
  • Curtains for bedroom (fabric purchased)
  • Decorative pillows for bedroom
  • Curtains for living room
  • Cornice for office
  • Pillow for chair in office
  • Wall art for living room
  • Wall art for hall bathroom
  • Chair for bedroom
  • Bed-frame for bedroom
  • Sideboard for dining room done!
  • Side chairs for dining room
  • Framed art for above coat hanger by front door
  • Adult-ify mud-room shelves (i.e. get rid of open storage and build some cabinets)

Luckily it is only the beginning of January because that list makes me slightly stressed.

Not as stressed as this office closet has been making me for the past year though:

Omg. Heartburn every time I open that door. The funny thing is that the ppl who sold us this house advertised 'updated closets' as one of the main features. HAH!

Lazy ppl forgot to paint over the previous-previous owner's markings:

creepy.

And they patched a hole with a paper towel. A PAPER TOWEL!:

Progress:

Guest room closet before (unfortunately I didn't get a shot when it was filled with junk so you could appreciate just how bad it looked):

Check-out all those holes. Looks like a driveby.

And now our guest room is covered in junk from both closets.

Horrible idea #234: start re-doing 2 of your 3 closets the week you are hosting book club.
