Recent little project involved replacing curtains left by previous homeowners with curtains inherited from my MIL. Since their old ceilings were about 2' taller than ours, I had to do a little trim job. As with all DIY projects, it took much longer than expected. I read a quote in our local paper this weekend that said "Time to complete a DIY = husband's estimate + wife's estimate x 2". So true!

Oh yeah, and I removed the curtains from the kitchen. Those suckers kept getting in the way of our grubbin'.
