Art

We need art. Lots of it. Our walls are naked and lonely. There is one big problem. Art is expensive. Current mission: find art on the cheap.

Inspired by this pic - the Audubon lithographs were found at a thrift store:

  1. The 6th picture down is a GREAT way to get a large open space covered for super cheap! I have made 2 engineer prints for the house and love them. It cost around $25 for everything (print, board, paint, spray glue) but once you have the paint and spray, any additional projects will cost around $9. For so cheap, you can swap pictures often to keep things interesting!

    1. Thanks for the tip!! What kind of board do get? Do you just use spray glue to attach the print? I definitely wanna get it a try!

  2. I got the board at home depot; make sure its true foam and not styrofoam. i accidently got styrofoam the first time and when i was cutting it down to size (with a box cutter) mini foam balls were going everywhere and cutting a clean line is impossible. I think i found the correct board in the insulation aisle. and yes, spray glue to attach. i bought some at michaels but i think its pretty easy to find. have fun!
