2012 in Review

This post has been weeks in making. House on the market = little time for much other than cleaning and escaping the house for showings. No joke. Totally lame. Sooo anyways...

I am dying to do projects. I have not had any projects to do in long time. Long, long time. There are so many things I want to do, but I am not allowed to spend any more money on this house. Come buy my house so I can start doing projects on a new one. Pretty please?

This was my original 2012 to-do list (highlighted = fail):
  • Re-do office and guest closets - done
  • Finish pathway in backyard - done (pretty much at least)
  • Get shrubs for side of house - done
  • Curtains for bedroom - done
  • Decorative pillows for bedroom - done
  • Curtains for living room - done
  • Cornice for office - done
  • Pillow for chair in office - done
  • Wall art for living room
  • Wall art for hall bathroom - done
  • Chair for bedroom
  • Bed-frame for bedroom - done
  • Sideboard for dining room - done
  • Side chairs for dining room
  • Framed art for above coat hanger by front door
  • Adult-ify mud-room shelves (i.e. get rid of open storage and build some cabinets)
  • Build a new garden - done
  • Rug for bedroom - done
  • Cornice for bedroom - done
  • Repaint ceilings - living room and dining room - done
  • Replace dining room curtains - done
Considering it is halfway through January, the likelihood of me beating last year's list is looking pretty slim. Therefore, we must relish in what got done last year.

Lots of living room love:

And lots of bedroom love too:

Of course having the professional photographer's pics doesn't hurt the before and after wow factor.
