New spot for the shoes

Today Hayden got to participate in his first 5k, a "Prediction Run". Winners were not necessarily the fastest, but those who most closely predicted their finish time. And guess what? Husband got 1st in his age group! And he did run pretty fast too. Fast enough to beat me for the first time ever. :0

Afterwards, little man got to participate in some home improvement projects. Such a lucky guy. While I continued work on the brass piece makeover, hubs tackled this hot mess:
