Cornice Round II

Have you been oh so curious about my office cornice since its mention yesterday? I'm sure of it!

Step 1: Get your board all ready. Measure size of window. Make sure board is big enough. Get an excited husband to help out:

2. Mark board with red board marker tool. Do not mis-measure like we did or you will have to repeat steps 1-3.

3. Cut board with saw. Be sure to have beer handy.


4. Cut side pieces.


5. Attach pieces with wood glue, then screw together:


6. Get out your handy-dandy foam adhesive and foam:

7. Attach foam with adhesive:

8. Get out your handy-dandy staple gun and bonded polyester. Have at it:


9. Cut excess polyester:
And there you have it! One of these days I will cover it with fabric. Check back at some point in the future for the finished project.
